Dear Participating Exhibitor:
Thank you for participating in the Santa Fe Holistic Fair. This year’s event is June 25-26, 2011 at the El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe at 1615 Paseo de Peralta.
If you have not yet done so, please tell all your clients about the fair and give them a flyer. Pass out flyers to everyone. You can print them right off the website at www.alternativechangesproductions.com under the tab that says: Print fair flyers. It takes all of us to work together to make this a fantastic show for everyone.
Set-up times are: Friday June 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning June 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The fair doors open at 10:00 a.m. We will do our opening ceremony at 9:30.
Fair hours are: Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 10-5
If you require electricity, please bring your own extension cords. There is NO pipe and drape for this event, so be sure to supply any backdrops you may need. You will be supplying your own table clothes and all booth decorations. We will provide you with table (s) and chairs. Please bring your own tables and chairs if you need something different than offered.
Food: We do have a catering company that will be providing food for this event.
GUIDELINES: There is a parking garage a half a block away and the cost was a $1.00 per day last year. During the event hours, we ask that you park in the parking garage to give attendees the on-site parking.
The building will be locked at night, thus you may leave all of your products in the booth over night.
Hotels:
I have made arrangement with the Courtyard by Marriott for a block of rooms at a discount rate of $85 per night plus taxes. Just mention that you are with the Santa Fe Holistic Fair to get this rate.

You can go to Orbitz.com and book a hotel there at a cheaper rate and pick what you want.
OR
Take a risk and go to Priceline.com and bid for your hotel. Go to www.priceline.com
Click on hotels and enter Santa Fe, NM and the dates you will be staying. After you hit enter it brings up a list of hotels and the prices that priceline charges for that particular hotel. You can get a hotel from that page or follow me and click on the orange box that says: “Name Your Own Price”. From here start with Step 1 by clicking on the area that you want to stay in – the El Museo Cultural De Santa Fe is in between 2 and 3 so you can choose either one and be fine, then go to step 2 and choose either what star hotel you want. If you click on a 2-star hotel in step 3 you will see that they say the medium price for a 2-star hotel is $77. I know that you can bid at least $20 lower and get it. If you go lower and don’t win that price, Priceline will ask you to change either the location or the star level. You have to change one of those things in order to re-bid. After you place your bid then you finish filling out credit card info and hit enter and they will negotiate your rate. Your card is not charged until you win your bid. The site will show a screen telling you they are negotiating. Next, you will either win your bid or they will tell you that you did not win and need to go back to the part where you change locations or to a different star level hotel.
I have been using Priceline.com for the last 9 years and travel at least 15 -20 out of state fairs or vacation where I need a hotel. Many times I will bid a 2-star hotel and they bump me up to a 3-star.
